Love Island’s Paige Turley Teased A Leap Year Proposal To Finley Tapp And We Ship It

It's the Love Island wedding we're all waiting for...

The nation’s favourite couple Paige Turley and Finley Tapp have been living their best lives since leaving the Love Island villa. With £50k of their winnings to split, the pair enjoyed their first official date night on February 29th (aka leap year!) and it looks like Paige debated popping the question to her new beau.

Taking to Insta, the stunning singer, who once dated Scottish hitmaker Lewis Capaldi, coyly joked: “First date night in London 😘!! You know what they say about the 29th of Feb …”

Referring to the leap year tradition of women getting down on one knee to propose to their other half, Paige implied that a proposal may have occurred on the couple’s first date. Naturally, fans went bananas. One joked: “Did you remember the ring Paige?” while another dished out some well-meaning advice: “Too soon for a proposal! Wait a while enjoy being with each other in the real world for a while.”

This isn’t the first time that the couple have talked openly about getting hitched. As Love Island’s first official couple of the winter series, Paige and Finn have been going strong since what feels like FOREVER. Finn even told The Sun Online: “I think we’ll get married. I can definitely see it. I’ve said to Paige, I’m not thinking short term, I’m thinking long term – the next five to ten years.” While the 23-year-old did reveal that while marriage will eventually be on the cards, “I don’t think I’ll propose by the end of the year.”

If Paige’s white frock is anything to go by, she’ll be a stunning bride. This will be the Love Island wedding we all deserve to witness.
