We’re Swooning Over Chris Evans In New Trailer For Series ‘Defending Jacob’

If you’re on the hunt for a new series to get stuck into, I say hunt because I’m totally hooked on Tiger King at the moment and so, using a lot of cat terminology, then Chris Evan’s new gripping series could be right up your street.

The trailer which dropped yesterday has got everyone talking ahead of its release next month and let’s just say one thing – Chris Evans.

Not only is he looking great with the beard and suit combo, it’s also nice to see him cast in a more serious role, playing a father fighting to prove the innocence of his son.

So, what’s his new series all about?

Chris Evans plays Andy Barber in Defending Jacob. A Massachusetts assistant district attorney, who finds his personal and professional life thrown into turmoil when his son, Jacob Barber, is accused of murdering his classmate Ben Rifkin.

However, as the plot develops, more information is uncovered and things aren’t as straightforward as they seem. Now, it’s up to Andy Barber and his wife to defend their son Jacob and prove he’s innocent.

The series also stars Downton Abbey’s Michelle Dockery and Jaeden Martell and we don’t have long to wait, the series will air on Apple TV+ on April 24 (the perfect reason to get stuck into that year’s free membership if you’ve bought a new iPhone in the past few months!).

We cannot wait to binge watch this one but until then, more Tiger King for me.
