The Best Bits Coming To Netflix This Month
We're in for some treats
Who would believe we’re already into the first week of March? With little plans stretching out before us this month, it looks like many a night will be spent in front of the tv.
But, it’s not all bad news. With lots of newness on the way to streaming service Netflix this month, there’s plenty to keep us entertained while we continue to stay inside. Here are just a few of our favourites on the way.
Series’
Marriage or Mortgage (March 10th)
Who knew that spending so much time indoors would make us become obsessed with property/interior design TV shows?! As we patiently wait for season 4 of Selling Sunset we’ll be sinking our teeth into Marriage or Mortgage, the reality TV series where a wedding planner and a real estate agent go head-to-head planning the dream wedding and finding the dream home, with one lucky couple must choose between. It’s tacky and we love it.
The Irregulars (March 26th)
If you’re on the lookout for some light-hearted supernatural fun, The Irregulars season one lands on Netflix later this month, and explores the story of Sherlock Holmes as you’ve never seen it before.
The Bold Type (March 1st)
All 4 series of the hit TV series The Bold Type has landed on Netflix today. If you’re a gal or guy who loves a bit of glamour, then this is the series for you. Loosely inspired by former editor-in-chief of Cosmopolitan magazine, Joanna Coles’ life, the drama focuses on the lives of women working at a global women’s magazine.
Bombay Begums (March 8th)
Bombay Begums follows the story of five different women, all with very different backgrounds, who are connected by their “ambition, desire, struggle for power and vulnerability.” Dropping on March 8th, we don’t have too much longer before we can binge our way through season one.
The One (March 12th)
Get ready for your latest TV obsession, this is like Love Is Blind and Married at First Sight on steroids, and set five-minutes into the future. Matching people based on their DNA, the eight-part drama finds if genetics really can find you ‘the one’.
Movies
Moxie (March 3rd)
You may be familiar with the novel of the same name by Jennifer Mathieu. The story of Moxie has now been adapted for the big screen, showing Vivian, a 16-year-old girl tackle a toxic, misogynistic culture in her school, with the help of her bad-ass feminist mum.
Yes Day (March 12th)
If you’re on the hunt for an evening of harmless entertainment, then mark March 12th in your calendar. Yes Day stars faves like Jennifer Garner and Edgar Ramirez as they allow their young children to take over for the day – definitely one for the whole family to sit down to!
Documentaries
Murder Among the Mormons (March 3rd)
This three-part documentary will examine the bombings in Salt Lake City in 1985, focusing heavily on Mark Hofmann, the mastermind behind the shocking attack, who is serving life in prison.
Biggie: I Got A Story To Tell (March 1st)
Following the story of Christopher Wallace AKA Biggie Small and his death in 1997, the documentary follows in-depth interviews with rappers including Sean ‘Diddy’ Combs.
