Mr Big Will Officially Be In The Sex And The City Reboot

It’s Official, Chris North has signed on to reprise his role as Mr Big in the Sex and The City reboot.

This is some of the greatest news we’ve heard in a while. It seems like ever since the announcement of the show’s reboot, there has been nothing but disappointing news  about the show, like the fact that there’s no Samantha, and there was no Mr Big…until now!

We are still without our Samantha, but Mr Big will be returning to our screens and to the Carrie, Big, Aidan love triangle one can imagine.

The bad guy that everybody hates to love (but still does), Mr Big has had many infamous moments that boiled viewers (and Carrie’s) blood, but the show just wouldn’t be the same without him.

HBO Max confirmed the news and executive producer Michael Patrick King said, “How could we ever do a new chapter of the Sex and the City story without our Mr. Big?”. Well said Micheal, well said.

The upcoming spin off titled, “And Just Like That” will follow Carrie, Miranda and Charlotte as they navigate their friendships and life in their 50’s. Missing is the show’s resident biatch and wild one Samantha played by Kim Cattrall who didn’t sign on to the reboot, Kim has previously spoken about fallings out with her co-stars and felt like her time was done with the show.

Although we will very much miss Samantha, the show will feature a non binary character that will use the pronouns they/them played by Sara Ramirez who identifies as non binary and uses she/they pronouns. We love to see the inclusivity.

We last left Carrie and Mr Big as a happy couple, so fingers crossed that’s still the case, but with Carrie’s ex played by John Corbett also signed on to return, we can’t help but wonder…
