The younger sister to Britney seemed to make one subtle move after receiving an influx of messages yesterday.

As I’m sure you’ve seen all over social media and in the press this week, Britney Spears addressed her ‘abusive’ conservatorship in a court hearing on Wednesday.
Since her emotional breakdown in 2008, Britney’s father, Jamie, has had full legal control of his daughter’s life and finances.
What was originally filed as a temporary conservatorship has now lasted for over 13 years. And after undergoing rehabilitation for her mental health, Britney is finally demanding her life back, something which has been echoed for years by the #FreeBritney movement – campaigners and fans who have long claimed that Britney was a prisoner in her own body.

Sharing a 20-minute-long, emotionally charged speech in the courtroom yesterday, Britney outlined the unfair treatment she has been receiving under this agreement.
“I just want my life back. It’s been 13 years and it’s enough,” Britney began.
“I’m not happy. I can’t sleep. I’m so angry. It’s insane.”
Now, in the days following the court hearing, the support for Britney and the masses rallying for her to get control of her life again has ramped up to another level, with fans declaring that enough is enough.

In the speech which Britney gave in court, it can be heard that she wishes to “sue” her family for what they’ve done and subsequently, not done, to protect her while under her father’s control.
“I would honestly like to sue my family, to be totally honest with you,” she said in court.
“I also would like to be able to share my story with the world, and what they did to me, instead of it being a hush-hush secret to benefit all of them. I want to be able to be heard on what they did to me by making me keep this in for so long, it is not good for my heart. I’ve been so angry and I cry every day. It concerns me, I’m told I’m not allowed to expose the people who did this to me.”
Now, with little response from the family bar a statement from Britney’s dad’s lawyer, Vivian Thoreen saying that “Mr. Spears loves his daughter and misses her very much,” it looks like Britney’s younger sister Jamie Lynn Spears is also subtly reacting to all that’s going on.
In a series of tweets, fans have noticed that Jamie Lynn Spears has disabled the comments on a recent Instagram post after one Britney fan said the Zoey 101 star received over 1,500 messages following the court hearing.

It’s unknown what the relationship between the sisters is like, however they’re believed to have shared quite a close bond over the years, with Jamie Lynn calling on the media to “do better” following the Hulu Framing Britney Spears documentary in February.
“Dear media, try not to repeat the mistakes of your past. Look where that got us. Do better,” she wrote on her Instagram at the time. She also shared the quote: “Everyone you meet is fighting a battle you know nothing about. Be kind. Always,” Jamie Lynn wrote at the time.
It’s also reported that Jamie Lynn was appointed as the trustee of Britney’s estate by Jamie and Britney’s lawyer, Andrew Wallet in August 2020. The SJB Trust was created by Britney in 2004 to protect her sons Sean Preston and Jayden James’ financial future and her fortune.
