Love Island Reveal New And Mysterious Update To This Year’s Villa
It's time for season seven and we couldn't be more ready.
It’s hard to believe that the last time we got a dose of summer Love Island was when Limerick man Greg O’Shea and Newcastle’s Amber Rose Gill took home the title of Love Island winners, captivating the hearts of the viewers and nabbing £50,000 while doing so.
And although their romance wasn’t meant to last, the pair, alongside many Love Islanders from that year – including Molly-Mae Hague and Tommy Fury, have gone on to lead seriously successful lives off the back of the show.
With brand deals with PrettyLittleThing, Beauty Works, Starbucks and Ego to name a few, as well as her own tanning brand, Molly-Mae Hague is one of the most successful Islanders to ever forge a career off the show. The star is also reported to charge upwards of €10,000 per sponsored Instagram post.

So, as you can imagine, this year’s new intake of contestants are surely gunning for similar success as well as finding love… of course.
But what’s in store for them this year?
Well, in first look images of the Love Island villa and tonight’s first show, it looks like the villa has undergone a little revamp. Nothing too major, no, it still looks pretty similar to how it usually does however, there’s a new colour scheme, the Hideaway looks pretty jazzy, there’s an introduction of some hybrid bunny seats come ornaments AND new this year, we’ve got a mystery button.
Yes, how, cryptic.
Not giving too much away ITV just announced that the “push” button would be waiting for Islanders in the hallway, the door by which we see them enter when they arrive and leave through for dates and when they’re ultimately sent packing.
We want to know more!
Tonight, we’ll be introduced to the first 11 Islanders, six girls and five boys – you can read about them here.
