Social media is buzzing today with news that Made In Chelsea star Lucy Watson has secretly wed while on holiday in Greece.
Lucy and her fiance James Dunmore are currently holidaying in Greece, confirming that they have tied the knot with a very sweet Instagram post.
Sharing a picture of herself and James on their wedding day Lucy simply captioned the picture: “12.09.21”
Fans have secretly had their suspicions that they were more than just engaged in recent days however, as Lucy has been dropping hints left right and centre. First, posting a picture of packaging by bridal designer Natalie Rolt, hinting at what could be inside it.
She then also posted on her stories calling James her ‘husby’ and in a seperate picture James can be seen wearing a wedding band on his ring finger.
The pair have been dating for 6 years, meeting on the set of the reality TV show back in 2015. Since then the two have been inseparable, announcing their engagement last September.
Sharing the sweet story of how James proposed to her Instagram followers at the time, Lucy explained:
“He got the hotel we were staying in to send me a letter saying we were going on a free yacht trip (awkwardly I wasn’t that surprised). He had booked the boat and planned everything.”
“The boat was stunning and I was trying to get content for the hotel. There was a full vegan meal and champagne and we went on a crazy beautiful tour of some private islands. Some of the prettiest scenes I’ve ever witnessed.

“We went to take a photo together and there he was on one knee. I was literally in shock, my heart didn’t beat for like 3 seconds.
“We then spent the day on the boat and had the best time with another couple we’re friends with, watched the sun go down. It was perfect.”
Given the special spot that Greece holds in the couple’s heart, it’s no surprise that they chose there to tie the knot too.
Congratulations Lucy and James!
