PSA: Andrew Fitzsimons Penneys’ Collection Will Be Off The Shelves Pretty Soon
Not the best news to kick off your Friday.
Run, don’t walk to your nearest Penneys to nab the remaining products in the Andrew Fitzsimons hair care line because it won’t be there too much longer!
The Irish hairstylist and resident member of the Kardashian glam squad took to Instagram yesterday to address the situation.
Andrew said he had been receiving messages from fans asking why some locations have fewer products available these days and he explained that the collection is on its way out of stores.
“We are no longer going to be selling Andrew Fitzsimons products at Primark as of the end of [October],” he said.
“It was always meant to be a limited range and we’ve come to the end of it unfortunately, but I just want to say a huge huge thank you to the whole team…”
Andrew went on to share his joy for the experience and how much he’s learned along the way, “It was such an amazing journey, I learned so much and the part of it that I enjoyed more than anything was connecting with everyone, with all of you.
“Seeing everyone’s excitement about the products and everybody enjoying them, it was just an absolute dream come true. And being able to share that with people in Ireland was amazing, let alone all of Europe pretty much.
“I just wanted to say thank you to everybody who shopped Andrew Fitzsimons at Primark, the whole Primark team, all the sales associates on the floor, the real stars of the show,” he continued.
You may have noticed your local Penneys having limited stock of the range and some even discounted, and now you know why!
This is very sad news for every fan of the range, having some high-quality products that were affordable and used by the Kardashians, isn’t something we are blessed with on the regular.
A huge thank you to Andrew Fitzsimons for bringing a little bit of LA glam to our hair routine, without breaking the bank.
Having the line affordable was something really important to the celebrity hairstylist when creating the brand, “I always knew I wanted to have my own products but it was crucial to be able to make them high end but also ultra affordable. It doesn’t matter how inclusive a brand claims to be if nobody can afford the products,” he said in a previous Q and A on Instagram.
With the end of October approaching, we are already wondering if this is the last of Andrew we will see in the hair care world… and something tells me it won’t be.
We will keep an eye out for his future projects but until then we are off to raid the remaining shelves before they are gone!
