That Dewy Glow! Here’s How To Steal STELLAR Model Aine’s Photoshoot Look
Get the lowdown from her stylist and MUA.
How gorgeous is our model, Aine, in this month’s fashion shoot?! Her striking features and super cute hair made her an absolute dream to shoot, but, of course, the gal can’t do it alone. Behind every great model is a great team. We spoke to hair stylist, Denise Bray and makeup artist, Jenni Boden, to find out exactly how they created Aine’s awesome look.

“Thick, wavy auburn hair, cut into short bob with an deadly undercut to add an ultra cool edge – our model’s hair was an absolute dream to work on! With her bob was perfect for the doll-like look we were going for on the shoot, so I knew I had a low maintenance job ahead of me. Using the GHD, I began by simply smoothing out the hair. I then sectioned off the top of the hair before adding a few random waves. This gave the hair a softer, more feminine look and added a gorgeous boost of volume too. Running my fingers through the hair I gave it a tasseled but neat, appearance and the finished by adding a light spritz of Joico Hair Shake Texturizing Spray!”

“With her unique, refined features, Aine already possesses that fresh, English Rose look. So for our makeup today I really wanted to highlight her natural beauty.
To begin I used MakeUp Forever’s HD Ultra Foundation. Medium coverage, that gives a gorgeous sheer finish to the skin, the this helped to give the skin a really dewy and glossy glow to the skin. Next up was a whole load of highlighter, using Mary-Lou Manizer (one my favourites right now!) I highlighted generously all around the cheeks, tear ducts and cupids bow, creating a luminous sheen to Aine’s skin.
Her rosy cheeks were achieved using HD Cream blusher in 225 from MakeUp Forever. The peachy, mandarin hue is bright and vibrant and gorgeous for the summer. Weightless on the skin, HD Cream gives a really fresh look and, best of all, stays in place all day!
Keeping in line with the doll-like look, we wanted to go for a bitten effect on the lips. Applying a the tiniest bit Makeup Forever’s Aqua Rouge Lip Stain in number 17 to my finger I dabbed lightly in the centre of the lip before adding a little bit of gloss.
Finally for the brows and eyes, I kept it simple. Aine already has full brows so with just a quick sweep on of Aqua Brow gel, I filled in any slight gaps. Then for the eyes, just a coat of Smoky Extravagant mascara too open up to eye and complete our fresh and girly look.”
