6 Divine Shellac Colours To Try Out Once You’re Back In The Nail Salon

Nails, glorious nails, oh how we’ve missed you. With nail salons reopening from June 29 as part of the phase 3 roadmap plan to getting the country back on its feet, it’s safe to say our feet and hands are in need of some serious SOS after months without proper care and TLC.
If you’re like me and had to take off your Shellac with a home DIY kit, I feel your pain. But thankfully, there’s light at the end of the tunnel and appointments are beginning to fill up again. So, it’s time to get back to choosing what nail colour you want, because the once pain of picking a shade now seems hella exciting.
With summer far from over, bright and vibrant hues are still very much in. From palm tree greens to sea blues and rosé inspired shades, these are the colours we’re dreaming about this summer.
Coral
Coral is always the perfect colour for summer and goes delicious with a sun-kissed glow. The shiny finish of CND Catch of the Day also makes it one of our fave summer shades and one we’re definitely thinking about wearing this summer.
Green
Hot Girl Summer last year was all about green shades and it’s back this year stronger than ever before. From neon shades to sage pastels, green is everywhere and we’re not complaining. CND Sugarcane is the colour to ask for.
Pink
Nothing says summer holidays like a hot pink nail. Although plans are up in the air in relation to summer vacays, staycations are always a good idea and hot pink nails are key for July. This shade is from OPI and always pops, ask for Charged Up Cherry.
Blue
Perfect for water babies and beach lovers, bring the seaside elements to your lewk with gorgeous blue nails. This peaceful, calming blue hue is from CND and it’s called Down By The Bae.
Nude
When in doubt, opt for something neutral. Nude always works and not only is it perfect for holidays and goes with every outfit, it’s also perfect for the office too – win, win! Opi Cosmo-Not Tonight Honey is both nude and shimmery, making it a gorgeous champagne shade and we’re totally obsessed.
Magenta
We’re not talking about magenta enough. This magical colour has an easy and free vibe that’s perfect for summer. CND The Skipper is the perfect option for you.
