6 Non-Sticky, Perfectly Lovely Lip Glosses That Will Convert You Into A ‘Gloss Person’

IT CAN BE DONE.

Glossier

I never thought I’d be a gloss girl. Anything other than a fully matte, pigmented lipstick? Couldn’t be me.

But I’m easily influenced. And as lip gloss started to surge in popularity once again, I had to see what the fuss was about. Now I’m a gloss convert – but it has to be a very particular type of gloss: High shine that feels not sticky or thick, but balmy on the lips.

Luckily enough, I’ve found several glosses that do just that. Try them and maybe you’ll be a gloss gal too.

Fenty Beauty Gloss Bomb, €18

Could you say it was Rihanna who brought about the gloss-aissance? You could. Gloss Bomb really is The One, with its bigass applicator and gorgeous formula. The original shade is a rosy nude meant to suit all skin tones, but Fu$$y and Diamond Milk are A+++ too.

Bobbi Brown Crushed Oil-Infused Glosses, €23.50

A new kid on the block, Bobbi Brown’s Crushed Glosses are the cousin of their Crushed Liquid Lipsticks. The oil infusion is key – they really feel so comfortable on the lips, and add a perfect hint of colour.

Milani Keep It Full Nourishing Plumper, €13.99

I’d argue that calling this a plumper is slightly misleading – this gloss isn’t going to sting the shit out of you. However, I do find that when paired with a bit of nude liner, it makes my lips look juicy and full. And that’s what you want, right?

Glossier Lip Gloss, €14

It’s just a clear gloss. But may I put forward that it is THE clear gloss? Somehow, Glossier have nailed it. You’ve got all the glassy shine without any of the stickiness. The cherry red shade is cute AF, too.

Charlotte Tilbury Collagen Lip Bath, €32

I know, the name is so extra. But you really will want to bathe your lips in this glorious balm/gloss hybrid that kicks any matte lipstick or liner up a notch. As always, Chazza T is on to a winner.

NYX Butter Gloss, €7

Butter Gloss has been around for years, but we shouldn’t sleep on her because all the trendy brands are embracing gloss now. This gloss really is buttery and smooth, and that price point? Ideal.
