The 2026 BAFTA Television Awards had yet another prestigious night, with series Adolescence making history with a total of four wins.

Graham Norton and Phillipa Dunne were amongst the Irish nominations for the award show.

Norton was nominated for the entertainment category for his hit show The Graham Norton Show, and Dunne, for her incredible performance in Amandaland, received a nomination for Actress in a Comedy.

Some Irish stars were also spotted in spring fashion at the red carpet in London.

Vogue Williams stepped out in an ethereal white lace dress, showcasing her new fringe hairstyle. After only recently announcing her fourth pregnancy, she arrived at the awards with husband Spencer Matthews.

Singer Una Healy was also showing off the Irish glamour, wearing an eye-catching two-toned, pastel yellow and blue dress.

The Saturday’s star remains active in the Irish media scene, appearing at different events. She is scheduled to perform at Chesterfield Pride this summer and has recently spoken out about her personal life and career.

Laura Whitmore, previous Love Island host, showed off her baby bump in a nude, strapless cream dress designed by Mara Hoffman.

Laura has shifted her career away from the Love Island villa and is now focusing on investigative documentaries, theatre, writing, and also continuing to host her true crime podcast Murder They Wrote alongside husband Iain Stirling.

Amandaland’s Irish actress Philippa Dunne wore a beautiful spring dress onto the red carpet.

The gown by Sister Jane from the Dream featured a lime green colour with sequins and floral accents. Dunne is widely recognised for her role as the constantly suffering Anne Flynn in BBC comedy series Motherland and its 2025 spin-off Amandaland.

While she did receive the nomination in her category, she unfortunately lost out to Katherine Parkinson in Here We Go.

With plenty of Irish talent nominated throughout the different awards, the luck of the Irish seemed to have run out as they did not win in their respective categories.

Dublin director Diarmuid Goggins was nominated for a drama series award for his ITV Code Of Silence.

Irish animator, director and writer, Seamus Malone received his nomination in the children’s category for his work on Shaun the Sheep. He has been behind the franchise for over 20 years, working as series director, supervising animator and writer.

Cork-born Graham Norton’s spectacular late-night show was nominated in the entertainment category, but unfortunately he lost out to Last One Laughing.

Norton has been doing his successful talk show for nearly two decades, he has had countless celebrities on his sofa throughout the years. He quite frequently hosts Irish talent including Cillian Murphy, Colin Farrell, Nicola Coughlan and many more.

Rising star Dónal Finn was also in attendance on the night.

Social media stars Eric Roberts and Arthur Gourounlian also turned out a fashionable affair on the night. How fab!
