Are Kyle Richards And Mauricio Umansky Getting Divorced After 27 Years Of Marriage?

There are so many questions!

The rumour mill has been rife with the possibility that Real Housewives of Beverly Hills star Kyle Richards and her husband of 27 years, Mauricio Umansky were divorcing. The pair were quick to shut it down releasing a joint statement across their Instagrams. They revealed they are not divorcing but are in fact “dealing with the most challenging [year] of their marriage”.

The statement read: “In regards to the news that came out about us today… Any claims regarding us divorcing are untrue. However, yes, we have had a rough year. The most challenging one of our marriage. But we both love and respect each other tremendously. There has been no wrongdoing on anyone’s part.”

They continued saying: “Although we are in the public eye, we ask to be able to work through parishes privately. While it might be entertaining to speculate, please do not create false stories to fit a further salacious narrative. Thank you for the love and support.”

The statement comes following reports of the couple splitting after 27 years together due to Kyle seeing country singer Morgan Wade.

A source told PEOPLE earlier this week that Kyle and Mauricio: “have been separated for a while now but are still living under the same roof. They remain amicable as they figure out what’s next for them and their family.”

An Instagram account that goes by the handle @facereality16 theorised about the blossoming relationship between Kyle and country singer Morgan. The pair can supposedly be seen subtly acknowledging the relationship by wearing a silver band ring each. They’ve also both got matching heart tattoos according to reports.

Amid this relationship speculation images of Kyle walking around last spring without her wedding ring on resurfaced.

The 53 year old real estate tycoon joined Teddi Mellencamp and Tamra Judge on their podcast Two T’s In a Pod in April stating the couple were “not getting divorced”.

He continued saying: “I mean, it’s so dumb. That one stupid story that came out there, and then the girls all, you know, decided to talk about it on the Housewives, and so now it’s a storyline.”

We wish them all well as they embark on a new chapter.
