If you haven’t heard of Colleen Hoover’s novel It Ends With Us, well, you’ve definitely been living under a rock.

The novel that took over BookTok after being published three years prior was relatively unknown before it took the video sharing app by storm, and now it has a highly anticipated movie adaptation coming our way.

The film stars Blake Lively as Lily, Justin Baldoni as Ryle and Brandon Sklenar as Atlas.

After the movie was shut down in May, due to the writers strikes across the US, it wasn’t looking like we would see it hitting the big screen anytime soon.

Alas, it seems we were all wrong as Jusitn Baldoni, who is also directing and executive producing the film, has just announced a release date for the highly anticipated movie – and it’s way sooner than we expected!

Justin released a statement revealing It Ends With Us would be hitting cinema screens around the world on February 9th 2024. Yes, that’s under eight months away!

The movie, which was shut down in May, was only halfway through filming leaving us all wondering whether we would ever get to see Colleen Hoover’s adaptation.

Well, it seems all is well and with production as they are hoping to resume filming soon.

For those who are unfamiliar with the books, the synopsis reads: ” It Ends With Us follows a girl named Lily [Blake Lively] who has just moved and is ready to start her life after college.

“Lily then meets a guy named Ryle [Justin Baldoni], and she falls for him. As she is developing feelings for Ryle, Atlas [Brandon Sklenar], her first love, reappears and challenges the relationship between Lily and Ryle.”
