It seems we could be getting a new song from our fave One Direction boys – or at least from three of them.

That’s right lads, the 1D boys had a mini reunion in LA last month and it wasn’t just to hangout!

Three members of the popular boy band met up in LA to record a brand new song seven years after their hiatus was announced.

Liam Payne has been in LA recording his second studio album recently and according to The Sun he was joined by two other members of One Direction, Niall Horan and Louis Tomlinson.

An insider told the UK tabloid: “Liam is great pals with Niall and Louis, so loved catching up with them while they were all in LA. Being in the studio together felt natural, so they all jumped on a track.”

The insider continued on saying: “It was second nature to them singing together and felt like old times. They had a right laugh.”

He also mentioned that producers of Liam’s highly anticipated second album, are hoping he includes it on the new record because “fans will love it”.

This little get together comes just days after the Strip That Down singer confirmed via Ringwalk Media that they had created a brand new group chat.

Harry also responded to reunion rumours when he was asked on the final show of The Late Late Show with James Corden: “Yes or No, will there be a One Direction reunion?”

Fans went into a frenzy at the pop star’s admission that he would, “never say never to that”.

He continued saying: “If there was a time when we wanted to do it, I don’t see why we wouldn’t.”

Our 13-year-old selves are screaming!
