Fans of the show will be delighted to know the 10th series of the hit dating show will be gracing our screens in under two months.

The Sun has revealed that the reality show will return to our screens in eight weeks time on Monday June 5th.

Maya Jama will be returning to host the hit ITV2 dating show after her very successful inaugural winter series that aired earlier this year.

As usual the chosen islanders will head to a villa on the island of Majorca, where they will stay for 2 months in the hopes of coupling up and finding love with someone while also vying for the £50,000 prize that is split equally between the winning couple.

A source told The Sun: “Love Island will start on June 5, just as people are getting ready to enjoy their summers. ITV have already lined up the islanders who will be heading to the show’s villa in Majorca. The cast will fly out late next month ready for the show to begin in just eight weeks. It is hugely exciting and those working on the show cannot wait to get started”.

The winter edition ended back on March 13th after crowning their winners Kai Fagan and Sanam Harrinanan.

The pair beat fellow islanders Tom Clare & Samie Elishi, Lana Jenkins & Ron Hall, and Shaq Muhammad & Tanya Manhenga for the Love Island crown following an 8 week stint in a South African villa.
