Dua Lipa Goes Red Carpet Official With Her New Beau

Dua Lipa (27) just took two huge steps in her relationship with French director Romain Gavras (41), going red carpet and Instagram official in one weekend.

The pair looked gorgeous attending the premiere of Omar La Fraise at the Cannes Film Festival.

This was Dua’s first time on the prestigious carpet. She wore a stunning Celine gown with cutouts and a slit, with her hair in a casual updo with very long bangs.

Romain wore a black suit and tie as they walked hand-in-hand on the carpet, looking quite adorable.

The singer later posted pictures from the event with the caption, “Last night in Cannes with my sweetheart” written in French. If that’s not a hard launch, we don’t know what is.

The pair have been rumoured to be spending time together since they were spotted leaving the BAFTAs party together back in February.

Dua split from her ex-boyfriend Anwar Hadid in 2021 after over two-years of dating, and this is the first official romance she has gone public with since, although she has been linked to Jack Harlow and Trevor Noah in the past.

Romain has directed both films and music videos, winning an MTV Video Music Award in 2012 for M.I.A.’s Bad Girls and directing the 2022 Netflix film Athena.

The 41-year-old was previously linked to Rita Ora who he reportedly dated in 2020.
