We love having you Florence!

Florence Pugh attended the Irish premiere of The Wonder this week and made the most of her flying visit to Dublin!

The Oscar nominated actress enjoyed some pints of Guinness beforehand, sharing a picture of the creamy pint on her Instagram stories to let her followers know she had arrived. While at the premiere Flo posed for pictures with fans and chatted to journalists, looking amazing in a white two piece.

Before leaving the following morning, Florence made sure to bring the goods with her and by the goods we mean packets of Tayto crisps of course. She shared a snap on her Instagram stories of her leaving with a whole bag of our famous crisps.

Now, Florence has shares her delight from her trip to her Instagram grid, with the caption, “And what an insane zip to Dublin and back that was. The Wonder had its Irish premiere with so much support and love pouring down the street! Thank you so much to all those who had waited. Arriving with such a welcome was so kind.

“The Wonder comes out in theatres in US and UK the 2nd of November! If you can, please take the opportunity to head to your cinema playing it and watch it on the large screen. The music, the landscapes, the and sheer size of the story is so desperate to be seen MASSIVE. I hope you enjoy.”

The film was shot in Ireland and is based on Irish author Emma Donoghue‘s novel. It sees Florence playing an English nurse who comes over to Ireland in 1823, 13 years after the Great Famine.

Florence’s character comes to Ireland to examine a young girl who claims to have not eaten in four months. The film and book are actually based on the true story of the “Fasting Girls” phenomenon.

While filming in Ireland, Florence was sharing some quality content on Instagram, from the Hollywood (Wicklow) sign, to herself enjoying a pint of Guinness.

She also shared how thankful she was to be welcomed so warmly on her Instagram stories saying at the time, “I can’t tell you how gorgeous everyone is, every single person I interact with is lovely and so helpful…Everyone is so kind and ready to just have a good time with you. So, thank you Ireland for being so generous and welcoming.”

We love having you here Flo! Come back soon!
