Friends Stars Reunite For Courteney Cox’s Big Moment

Courteney Cox was honoured with her own star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame last night and the  Friends ladies came out to support her on her big day – we’re screaming internally, externally too!

Our favourite cast ever reunited last night to honour their co-star and friend of 30 years. Jennifer Aniston and Lisa Kudrow showed their support for Courteney Cox as she was honoured with a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame.

The two FRIENDS stars were just some of the speakers at the event and shared some wonderful words for their 58-year-old friend.

She was commended on being an “extraordinary friend” and was even branded a “really good human”.

She was credited for creating “one of the closest most loving and supportive casts in the history of television” during her Friends’ era.

Jennifer Aniston took to the stage to share some words about her friend and co-star saying: “We’re very honoured to be here today to speak on your behalf as your co-workers, your friends, your family and your sisters”.

She added: “To be friends with Courteney is to be family with Courteney and she is responsible for all of that”.

She goes on to say Courteney instilled in them the need to support your friends and co-stars and not compete with one another saying: “Those wise, wise words have stayed with me – I learned them as a young 20-something-year-old actor and that really set me on my path as a young woman and being able to create relationships that I cherish to this very day”.

Lisa believes it was Courteney instilling this sentiment in them that has “really set us up to become one of the closest, most loving and supportive casts in, I’ll say it, the history of television”.

Turning to Courteney she sweetly says: “We just want to say that we’re deeply, deeply proud to know you. You are the definition of a truly beautiful, talented, and what’s most important, a truly good and decent human being. Thank you for enriching our lives”.

Courteney thanked her partner, Snow Patrol singer Johnny McDaid and shared her love for her daughter Coco Arquette who she shares with ex husband David Arquette.

Ana Martinez, producer of the Hollywood Walk of Fame also had some words to say about their newest inductee and her incredible career saying:”We are thrilled to welcome Courteney Cox to the Hollywood Walk of Fame! Courteney has played some momentous roles during her career, and we know there is much more to come.

She also stated that Courteney’s star is placed just a few feet from her friend and fellow walk of famer Jennifer Aniston – how fitting!

This is truly an exciting time for the Friends actress, we can’t wait to see her reprise her role as Gale Weathers in Scream VI which opens in Irish cinemas March 10th 2023
