Here’s Why Everyone Is Obsessing Over Pedro Pascal
The king.
It takes a serious thing to get the world over to agree on something and well we’ve finally found that thing – Pedro Pascal.
We all knew his spotlight moment was coming soon, having been on the rise for the last few years, the Chilean native was labelled a ‘thirst trap’ before hitting the big time this year and becoming the talk of the internet. He has starred in many a well known show including Narcos, Game of Thrones, The Mandalorian and The Last of Us.
He’s been promoting his new projects left, right and centre and even managed to squeeze in a night of hosting Saturday Night Live.

It was his role as Joel Miller in The Last of Us that gained Pedro his rave reviews and a whole new fan base obsessed with his cheeky personality, killer humour and handsome good looks.
Beyond his acting talent it is his incredible style on the red carpets this award season that has heralded him a fan favourite. He takes a normal all-American red carpet look and adds twists and unique pieces, showing his own style full of vintage pieces and unsuspecting twists that work incredibly well together.
Social media is awash with video compilations of the 47-year-old’s most recent interviews which show off exactly how great a guy he is, with the added bonus of millions of likes within days of them being uploaded.
So besides these loveable attributes, what else do we the public love about this Hollywood heartthrob?

Well we can’t turn a blind eye to his normal dating habits – compared to his Hollywood colleagues at least. You’ll be glad to know there’s no 19 year olds in his dating portfolio; he has in fact dated women as much as five years older than himself like Maria Dizzia, 48. He has also been linked to Robin Tunney, 50, and Lena Headey, 49, but has always referred to them as good friends.
We also have to acknowledge his support for LGBTQ+ rights, where he has shown some serious love for his sister Lux who is a transgender actor and activist but also for his co star, Bella Ramsey, who came out as non-binary during an interview with The New York Times ahead of the premier of The Last Of Us saying: “I’m very much just a person. Being gendered isn’t something that I particularly like, but in terms of pronouns, I really couldn’t care less”.

Finally, who doesn’t love a star who interacts with their fans – we know we do. Pedro Pascal is no different, between his obvious acknowledgement of fan made videos during interviews to his interaction with fans across Twitter, this man knows how to make people love him.
