Maura Higgins’ Best Friend Is One Of Our Latest Bombshells Entering The Love Island Villa

Maura Higgins is the Queen of Love Island, so for a new islander to get her approval says a lot.

So, it seems this series is set to be one of the best yet, because Maura’s close friend Leah Taylor has entered the villa, and needless to say, Maura approves.

Jess was announced as a new bombshell, along with Charlotte Sumner, last night during the preview for tonight’s episode.

Taking to Instagram, Maura shared support for her pal, writing: “SCREEEEMMMIINNNGGG!!!!! FINALLY @leahjtaylorr.”

The Longford lady also shared a glimpse at the girl’s goodbye, before Jess left for Majorca: saying: “The last goodbye go smash it my girl [Leah].”

Jess opened up about their friendship before walking through the villa doors, saying: “My favourite thing I’ve ever watched is Maura’s best bits, she’s one of my best friends so we watched it together one night and couldn’t stop laughing, she’s hilarious.”

However, it seems Maura isn’t Jess’ only famous friend, as the former dancer worked with plenty of A-listers during her career.

“When I was a dancer, I actually danced at the EMAs and danced for Rita Ora and Camila Cabello,” she shared.

Maura isn’t even her only Love Island connection, as Leah previously dated, Maura’s villa mate, Danny Williams.

The pair appeared on series five together back in 2019, but sparks never flew. In 2020, Danny and Leah began seeing each other, even heading on a romantic trip away to Iceland.

Sadly, their romance was short lived, and the couple called it quits not long after.
