Max George Says He Would Love A The Wanted Reunion

The former boyband member says he would definitely be up for getting the band back together.

After the band split in 2014, the members went their separate ways with some continuing in the music industry and some dabbling in acting. Max George, who has done both solo music and acting roles since the split has recently shared he is keen to revisit the band if the others are on board.

Max told The Sun, “I have never hidden behind the fact that I personally would love to do it…I love the boys, the band, the buzz, the fans, the music . . . I love it all. I would love to do it again.”

“The boys are all over the place doing their own thing. They are all really successful. But would I do it? A million per cent I would.”

“The music hasn’t aged and, for me, Glad You Came will be a summer banger forever.”

Max also shared that his former bandmate Tom Parker would also be interested despite his current battle with cancer, “I’ve spoken to Tom a lot and he was like, ‘Yeah, cool. If it happens, it happens’. Despite everything he is going through, I know Tom would do it tomorrow,” he said.

Max celebrated the 10 year anniversary of the bands hit Glad You Came last week by posting a throwback on Instagram with the caption, “Glad You Came. 10 years old today. The song that changed my life. Thank you everyone for all the support.”

Nothing has been confirmed between the lads yet, but we would absolutely be here for a The Wanted reunion, they had so many good bops!
