Meet The Newest Love Island Bombshell: Dublin-Based Football Player Scott Van-Der-Sluis

All hail the newest Love Island bombshell, technically a Welshie, we’re going to steal him as technically he has been living in Dublin for the last year!

We’ve been lucky enough to have an OG Irish islander in the villa since day one, now with a bombshell walking in tonight will we hit a new level of Irish humour?

Scott van-der-Sluis is hoping to turn some of our gorgeous girls’ heads tonight when he enters the villa. The 22 year-old, who originally hails from North Wales is a professional footballer.

He’s been playing for Shelbourne F.C in Dublin for the past year and is only delighted to be walking into the villa and vying for a somewhat permanent spot in the coming days.

Scott says football is all he has ever done so he’s excited to get inside the villa and switch things up a bit.

The 22-year-old has no problem airing his dating icks saying: “Someone who gets too clingy too quickly. I don’t like too many calls and too many texts.  I’m not a fan of someone wearing Nike Air Force 1 trainers with a dress on a night out either or waking up with someone and seeing patchy fake tan in the morning.”

A long list, but we do love a guy who’s honest about what he likes and dislikes!

Blaming his constant moving around Scott says his dating life has suffered at his own hand: “I’ve been single through my own choice, as well as circumstances. I’ve moved around a lot with football and I’ve been based in Dublin playing football for over a year. I’ve been single for 3 and a half years so it’s been a while so I’m ready and open to anything!”

So what can we expect from Scott once he steps inside the villa tonight?

“Energy. I’ll bring a bit of banter, be cheeky, and I’m a flirt! I’ve a very, very strong personality so if I see anything I don’t agree with, there’ll definitely be fireworks!”

We’re excited to see how the other islanders react to our new bombshell!
