Olivia Attwood Opens Up About Why She Left I’m A Celeb
We finally know why she left the show!
We finally know why Love Island star Olivia Attwood had to leave I’m A Celebrity Get Me Out Of Here After Just 24 hours.
Speaking to the Mail Online Olivia recalled the scary situation that led her to leave the jungle very early on in the series. After undergoing a blood test for the show, the results came back and revealed Olivia was dangerously anaemic and had to go straight to hospital.
She said, “I was so scared, I was like “what the hell is wrong with me? They couldn’t give me an answer, they just told me that they had to get me to the hospital immediately.
“The results were really, really low when they put them into their reader and they consulted with another doctor off site. I had those bloods done in England before I left, and they were fine. I was confused and of course very, very worried.”
“I didn’t know what to think. I was wondering if I had picked up a virus, was I pregnant, all of these things were going through my head. It was absolutely frightening.”

Olivia told the publication that a lot of things were going through her mind when she was removed from the camp, “I didn’t know what to think. I was wondering if I had picked up a virus, was I pregnant, all of these things were going through my head. It was absolutely frightening.”
Although luckily Olivia felt okay, she explained the team were not comfortable sending her back into the jungle, “They said because of the results the show’s medical team got from my readings, they were not happy to sign me off to come back in, even though I had the clean bill of health from the hospital.
“If I went back into camp, they feared my levels might drop and it could be detrimental to my health and wellbeing. They were not willing to authorise my return and therefore I wasn’t insured.”

While appearing on This Morning, Olivia shared her feelings about missing the full experience of the show, “I’ve been a big fan of the show all my life, and those conversations about entering the jungle started from the first year I left Love Island, so it’s been like five years in the making. Then there was that thing about being the first Love Islander on the show…”
She also revealed she would be up for doing it again next year but isn’t sure if she will be able to fit into her schedule.
