Olivia Reacts To Kai And Sanam’s Love Island Win

Love Island’s Olivia Hawkins has finally commented on her ex, Kai winning the series with Casa Amor bombshell Sanam.

Unlike during the last eight weeks it seems there is zero drama surrounding them now the dust has settled following the Casa Amor recoupling debacle.

Olivia, who was dumped from the island along with her partner Maxwell Samuda, took to her Instagram stories following the news that Kai and Sanam had been crowned the series 9 winners with a message for the couple.

She said: “Happy for them”.

Olivia spoke with Maya Jama on Love Island’s debrief show, Aftersun and got the chance to look back on her actions following her exit on March 1st. She admitted to Maya that her reaction to Sanam and Kai recoupling was very “hypocritical”of her.

Olivia returned from Casa Amor just like Kai, with a bombshell on her arm by the name of Maxwell Samuda, so she says looking back she should have been ready for Kai to walk through the door with another girl.

She said: “In the moment, you know, it’s so intense. Emotions were high – there were real feelings there, so when I walked through those doors, I was so nervous”.

Speaking about her time in the villa, Olivia revealed there’s no hard feelings between her and Kai, they seem to realise this is how life works. She also jumped in to say that she and Sanam are friends with each other, even saying what a lovely girl she is.

“You know, I said to him, ‘Thank you so much for being such a big part of my journey’. And Sanam, we’ve actually got a really nice friendship. She’s such a lovely girl. So yeah, I just wish them the best”.
