Olivia Rodrigo Is Releasing New Music And We Couldn’t Be More Excited

She’s back!

Olivia Rodrigo has finally revealed she’s ready to share some of her new music with us. The Drivers License singer revealed she has a new single on the way – this month!

She took to her social media to reveal a brand new single called Vampire will be coming our way on June 30th, marking her first release since her Grammy award winning album Sour.

Olivia posted a photo on Instagram of a girl with two plasters over what we can only guess is a puncture mark from a vampire bite.

Along with the image she captioned the post: “my new song vampire is out June 30th! you can presave now. so excited for this ahhhhh!!!!!!! 🖤🩸💜🫀❤️.”

Beyond this there’s very little else we know about the new single. Olivia wrote it alongside producer Daniel Nigro, who she worked with on her debut album, Sour. There will also be a special edition  seven inch vinyl released, featuring Olivia’s first demo of the song.

Olivia has offered her fans intermittent but completely vague updates surrounding new music as it has been over 2 years since her last release aside from a Christmas song in December 2022.

In her Spotify wrapped message for 2022 the singer wrote: “I am so excited for next year, and all of the new things and new music that 2023 will bring.”

January marked the two year anniversary of the release of Drivers License, to celebrate the milestone Olivia posted a video of herself and Daniel head banging to brand new music. She captioned it: “Working on so many new songs I’m excited to show u! Thank u for everything.”

Well, we’ve waited two years, we guess two and a half more weeks won’t kill us.
