Reese Witherspoon Visits The Set Of Where The Crawdads Sing

Reese Witherspoon shared some behind the scenes pictures of her visit to the Where The Crawdads Sing set including a snap with Daisy Edgar-Jones.

The actress, who is a producer on the film said on Instagram, “What an incredible day visiting the set of #WheretheCrawdadsSing for the first time. This story has such a special place in my heart and to see it all come to life is true MOVIE MAGIC! Between the stunning location, detailed set design and amazing cast & crew, I think I said “WOW” 579 times. It truly brought tears to my eyes. I can’t wait to share more details of this project with you all – Is it June 2022 yet?? 🛶🦐🎥📚🌅 @crawdadsmovie”.

Normal People star Daisy Edgar-Jones is playing the lead role in the film and finally got to meet Reese upon her visit. Daisy commented, “Was so lovely meeting you 🥰🥰🥰” on Reeses Instagram post, to which Reese responded, “@daisyedgarjones I can’t wait for the world to see you as KYA !”. We already love this friendship!
The film, based on the best selling novel, follows the story of a young girl living in North Carolina, who becomes a suspect for the  murder of a local celebrity.

The movie is set for release in June 2022 and is already expected to be a hit.

The author of the novel shared some pictures while on set saying, “On the Crawdads movie set with Daisy Edgar Jones (who plays Kya) and Livi Newman (director)!!! So exciting.”
