Shakira Sets Her Sights On New Life In Miami

Shakira has decided to make the move back to Miami by the end of the week alongside her two sons – Milan and Sasha.

It emerged last month that the 46-year-old was hoping to make the move to the Floridian city on April 1st following a nasty separation from her partner of 11 years, Gerard Pique.

Vanitatis, a Spanish showbiz site reported that the Columbian singer had let anyone who was close to them as well as the nurses looking after her elderly parents that they were moving and would not be returning to Barcelona.

They said: “A large part of the singer’s close circle already knows she’s leaving. The children stopped participating in extra-curricular activities like baseball some time ago. They carried on playing football, especially Milan who loves the sport, but well-placed sources say that in Esplugues de Llobregat near Barcelona where the youngster has been going regularly to train and play games, they have been told the youngster won’t return”.

They continued on adding: “The children won’t return to their schools either. Milan has two weeks holiday at the international school he has been studying at for the past few years whereas Sasha only has one. Now, with a new life ahead of them, both are looking forward to the experience facing them”.

The couple who battled legally for months following their May 2022 split finally came to an arrangement after a 12 hour sit down with their lawyers in November and subsequently signed the agreement in December.

As part of the agreement Pique and his new girlfriend, Clara Chia get to spend holiday times with the two kids.

The Spanish gossip site is stating Shakira the kids and her parents will all live under the same roof once they land in Miami as she still owns a $14 million mansion there which she had put on the market back in 2018.
