UK Rapper Bugzy Malone Addresses Gemma Owen Romance Rumours

Gemma Owen has been rumoured to be dating UK grime artist Bugzy Malone this week after it was reported that the pair had grown close but wanted to keep their relationship on the down low.

However, both Gemma (19) and Bugzy Malone (32) have addressed the situation, with the rapper even bringing Michael Owen into it.

Posting a video on Instagram of himself taking mirror pictures, he reached out to Gemma’s dad Michael in the comments, letting him know Gemma is too young for him.

He wrote, “@themichaelowen your daughter looks lovely rkid, but 19 just isn’t my cup of tea or coffee. Someone go tell @thesun to BEHAVE!”

Gemma has also shared her thoughts on the rumours as she told MailOnline, “I have never met or spoken to him and we don’t follow each other on social media. I am not dating and I am definitely single.

“Just after Christmas, I had much needed time with my family and friends and I am working on myself. I am not going to date anytime soon and I’m not looking.

“On a personal level, I want to work on my happiness and investing time in people close to me, my family and friends and just being content in myself.”

Gemma split from her Love Island boyfriend Luca Bish in November of last year.

It looks like 2023 is off to a busy start for Gemma despite the rumours swirling, she released her first collection with PLT yesterday after signing a major deal with them after her Love Island appearance.

Sharing the news on Instagram she wrote, “My first collection with PLT HAS LAUNCHED 💕 I’ve loved working on this for the last few months with the amazing team! I hope you all love it!! Xx”

Her Love Island co-stars showed their support in the comments with Tasha Ghouri commenting, “Gem you look STUNNNNIN”, while Indiyah Polack said, “Congrats Gemmm!!💕💕💕🎊🎊”.
