Wait, Is Shakira Dating Tom Cruise?

Do we have a new celeb power couple on our hands?

Shakira and Tom Cruise have been the center of some romance rumours after being spotted chatting at the 2023 Miami Formula One Grand Prix.

In pictures from the event the pair can be seen talking, laughing and taking pictures together while enjoying the races. Although this could have been a friendly encounter, the internet is convinced there’s something between the pair.

And while the pictures are doing the rounds online, a source has told Page Six, that Tom, “is extremely interested in pursuing” the singer. The source told the publication that “there is chemistry” and added, “Shakira needs a soft pillow to fall on, and that could be Tom.”

This comes after Shakira split from footballer Gerard Piqué in June 2022, after 11 years together, the pair share two sons, Milan and Sasha. Shakira has been very vocal about her breakup quite literally, within her music.

Earlier this year, she released BZRP Music Session #53 and shared just how hard it was. Speaking on The Tonight Show, the songstress explained, “I’ve had a very rough year after my separation, and writing this song [‘Bzrp Music Sessions, Vol. 53’] has been so important to me.”

“It’s been a healthy way to channel my emotions.”

The singer has also recently relocated with her sons after living in Spain for ten years. They have reportedly moved to Miami, where a lot of their family live. And this is where the Grand Prix was, so it all checks out!

Tom reportedly split from his Mission: Impossible 7 co-star Hayley Atwell in June 2022.
