Everything Team STELLAR Is Loving This Week

Everything we are obsessing over this week.

Back at it again.

Another week down, another article detailing exactly what Team STELLAR has been loving this week.

Spring has officially sprung, and even though the biting, cold weather has returned, the trees are blossoming and the animals are awakening, and listen – that’s good enough for us.

This week, the team has been enjoying a whole host of things, treats, and the king of Ireland (Paul Mescal).

Read on for more. You’re welcome.

Jade H is loving… vision boards (and yoga too)

If you’re looking for something different to do over the upcoming Paddy’s weekend, a bespoke yoga and vision board day retreat is happening soon in Dublin.

Yoga and meditation teacher Erica Bracken and VIBO Vision Boards founder Hannah O’Neill have teamed up to host a five hour journey of self discovery featuring some gorgeous movement and meditation, relaxing journaling and goal setting, and a delicious lunch served by the Fumbally Café.

Sound like the perfect way to spend a Saturday? Hard agree.

You can find out more about the event and book yourself a ticket here.

Jade C is loving… strong spring nails

Before Christmas, I got my shellac off, and did not put it back on. It’s easy to slip into the habit of getting a new colour on every time your previous has grown out, and as much as I love a trip to the nail salon, my nails were in bits.

When I got the shellac off (bear in mind, I hadn’t had shellac-free nails in about two years, whoops) my nails were extremely weak. They were splitting and breaking constantly and it was really frustrating considering I had always had pretty strong nails before. I began my nail recovery journey by using Sally Hansen’s nail products, particularly the Sally Hansen Diamond Strength and the Sally Hansen Complete Care 7-in-1 Nail Treatment. These two were my saving grace. After months of getting them back on track, I now paint my nails at home, picking up a new colour polish for my collection is such a treat.

My nails are so strong and currently a light purple colour, which to me screams spring. Glancing down at my fresh (DIY) set throughout the day gives me a little boost. I have also been using Harry Style’s nail tech’s polish routine which makes them last really well. Would recommend taking a break from nail appointments to a friend!

Lorna is loving… planning a summer trip

There’s nothing better than getting ready for a trip away in my eyes. I nearly love the planning more than the actual trip. You’ll find me for weeks on end finding out everything there is to see, do, eat and drink in whatever city I’m headed to.

Well, this year I’m headed on a road trip from Seattle to San Francisco and you can bet that I’ve spent every evening and weekend researching everything I can do across the 1,300 km from city to city. I’ve found outlets that have my favourite shops, and incredible Chinese and seafood restaurants and don’t get me started on the cocktail menus I got heart eyes just looking at them

There’s just something so satisfying about creating a list – yes I’m a big list girly although rarely end up ticking off half of what I’ve added – that makes a trip seem even more exciting than the actual holiday itself.

Jade H is loving… Miffy x Mulberry

@stellarmagazine The new store opened up on Duke recently – and we’re obsessed ❤️ #mulberry #fyp #dublin @Mulberry ♬ The Assignment – Tay Money

Name a more adorable and aesthetically pleasing collection – we’ll wait.

Dublin’s newest Mulberry store opened its doors on Duke street a few weeks ago, and already they’re boasting one of the greatest collabs of our time… a collection with none other than iconic Dutch rabbit, Miffy.

Cross-body satchels, phone cases, luggage tags, and more. It’s all there, and it’s all super cute.

Now if someone could just buy one for me, please.

Yep, OBX is back. I have been patiently awaiting the return of the show based on “paradise on earth” and the time is now. Kicking off a list of great releases coming our way in the next while I will be binging the third season of the show this weekend with a snack in hand and a face mask on.

I am also looking forward to seeing the chemistry between the two leads in the show Madelyn Cline and Chase Stokes as they have broken up IRL since the last season of the show, imagine working with your ex?! Let alone playing their (on -again, off -again) love interest…

The little things that excite me! Outer Banks is available to watch on Netflix now!

Lorna is loving… the GHD Curve Soft Curl Tongs

I’ve had dead straight hair all my life so naturally, I always craved curly hair which unfortunately wouldn’t work in my favour with the weight of my hair, curls just didn’t stay in it and would vanish after 10 minutes.

I’ve owned a GHD original hair straightener since I was about 15-years-old I begged my dad for it one Christmas and he pulled through much to my mammy’s disgust. Ten years later I’ve still never straightened my hair with it!

Having used the straighteners as a curler for years I was sure I would never find a curler that would hold my hair but shockingly I have in the GHD Curve Soft Curl Tongs – is it any wonder the brand has been around for nearly 100 years, it really does the job!

Who among us isn’t?

Academy Award nominee, film star, Maynooth man, sausage loving, soon-to-be Late Late guest Paul Mescal has had a lot going on these past few weeks.

And Team STELLAR was even lucky enough to witness the man’s talent in the flesh this week at the Irish premier of his latest film, God’s Creatures.

Paul hit the Lighthouse red carpet alongside fellow stars Emily Watson and Aisling Franciosi to promote the new film for the Dublin International Film Festival. He even gave us some great content in the form of seeing his mam and dad waiting for him outside the cinema.

Too cute, honestly.
