Behind The Peter Mark VIP Style Awards Look: Grace Mongey

Our favourite blogger Faces by Grace was nominated for the Peter Mark VIP Style Award for Influencer of the Year and it was well deserved. We caught up with her in the Inglot and Peter Mark beauty room this morning to find out her outfit plans for the evening as well as some of her top beauty tips.

Grace sat in the Inglot makeup chair with plans to go for a nice smokey eye for the event. “I have a picture of a really black, kind of like a wet look. Then I want really fresh looking skin, really dewy. I need a nude lip always.”

As for the hair, Grace rocked a messy updo. “I wanted it to look kind of like I did it myself. My dress is a high neck and it zips up the back so I want my hair up and out of my way.”

Some of Grace’s makeup bag staples include the By Terry Cellularose CC Brightening Lumi Serum and the YSL Touche Eclat foundation. She loves the Charlotte Tilbury lipsticks and a pink nude is her shade of choice. For the biggest event of the year she decided to hop on the gloss train and opt for a glossy lip.

Face powder is Grace’s be all and end all to keep her face beat. “Powder makes your makeup last longer. If your makeup is coming off in certain areas it adds extra coverage.”
