Brown Thomas Can’t Keep This NARS Foundation In Stock – So What’s So Good About It?
We have the scéal.
NARS’ new Natural Radiant Longwear Foundation is one of the most buzzed-about bases in a long time.
It came out a couple of months ago to rave reviews by bloggers and YouTubers, and is described as a lightweight, high coverage, but somehow still natural-looking foundation.
If even that makes you want to head to Brown Thomas to give it a try, well, you can’t. It’s out of stock basically everywhere, and according to Sinéad of the beauty blog The Beautiful Truth, BTs won’t be getting it back in until late April or early May.
So what’s so great about this foundation that it’s flying off the shelves like this? STELLAR’s social media manager Jen Morris is one of the lucky ones to give it a go, and she’s a huge fan.
Jen uses the shade Punjab, which is comparable to MAC NC25 – we got her to spill the beans about it (and share some gorge photos of her with it on):
This foundation is perfect for when I want to have a completely flawless base. I have freckles that I love but when I am going all out GLAM I want to have a blank canvas to work with, and I can achieve that with this foundation. Even though it’s very full coverage you don’t look like you’re wearing a mask – it has an almost gel-like formula that blurs your imperfections while making your skin glow and look… radiant.
“When I first tried it I couldn’t believe how long it lasted on my very dry skin,” she says. “Super mattifying foundations usually make my skin look terrible, but with the Nars foundation my skin looks plump, soft and glowing.”
Like the sound of that? We’ll keep you posted on when it’s back in stock in BTs – there are still some shades available on ASOS, but you’ll have to buy blindly. May the odds be ever in your favour.
