Calling All Budding Fashion Designers And Photographers – VILA Wants You
Enter the VILA Talent Awards to be in with a chance of designing or shooting a new collection!
Are you a budding fashion designer or photographer living in Ireland? We have a very exciting opportunity for you.
For the first time ever, the VILA TALENT AWARDS is on an international search for extraordinary talent: One amazing fashion designer and one incredible photographer to help design and shoot a collection later this year.
Sound like you? Here’s more on what they’re looking for:
One extraordinarily talented designer:
This person will get to create the perfect five-piece capsule collection for VILA’s party season 2018. We’re looking for someone who understands both the artistic and the commercial side of fashion, and who can’t wait to share both.
One extraordinarily talented photographer:
This person will dazzle us with her or his unique take on street style photography. We are looking for someone who loves the impulsive, caught-in-the-moment snapshot of a fashionable woman on the street.
The Irish entrant will be chosen by a local jury and go on to compete against other entrants from all across Europe.
The Irish jury includes Aideen Feely (Celebrity Stylist for VIP Magazine), Linda Conway (Fashion Editor, STELLAR Magazine) and Tara O’Brien (Marketing & PR Manager, BESTSELLER).
The overall winner of the design competition will have his or her collection put into production and sold in VILA shops all over Europe, act as head stylist on the campaign shoot, and receive €5000 in cash.
The winning photographer will have the chance to shoot the collection in one of Europe’s fashion capitals, along with €5000. What amazing prizes!
Deadline for sign-up is April 16th 2018 – to apply, head on over to the website here.
