Perfect Pleats

They are such an easy addition to an outfit. The added visual texture creates interest to an otherwise plain look. Whether you lean towards a soft draped pleat or a more intricate pleat with a bit of weight behind it. It’s the perfect way to add interest without over-complicating things. Keep the rest of your look paired back to let the pleats stand out and do the talking.

Raging Red

Colour of the season are words everyone waits to hear four times a year. Barbie pink was ultimately the colour of the Summer thanks to the colour’s namesake and its brand new movie which released on the 21st July. While it will remain as a standout colour for Autumn the real showstopper of the season is going to be the colour red. Not ruby, burgundy, cherry or crimson but good auld scarlet red. Slay the game in a scarlet red monochrome moment, you’ll thank us later.

New Look Red Ribbed Racer Vest, €9.99

Zara Flowing Wrap Trousers, €22.95

Rylee Red Bandage Strapless Longline Top, €90.00

The LBC (Long Black Coat)

Noted to be one of the most wearable trends this season, the Long Black Coat will be the coolest outerwear option for Autumn. While many of the ones shown at fashion week for floor scrapers (totally impractical when it lashes rain in the summer in Ireland let alone any other time of year), that doesn’t mean it’s a trend you must skip over. There are plenty of options out there for you to partake in the trend in a fashionable yet practical way.

Autumnal Florals

Everyone loves a floral moment come spring but tends to forget about the moodier hues come Autumn. Well that’s all about to change because florals are totally in this upcoming season, take a look at pretty much every designer runway from fashion week in February and you’ll see the print taking over the runways. GO for a deeper base colour to really be on trend.

Bright tights

It’s all about the brightly covered legs this season. Whether you go for Barbie pink, Scarlett red or forest green you’ll stand out from the crowd in the most spectacular way. Tights are the perfect way to elevate an outfit without having to think too hard about your accessories, while also being practical (yes we need to combat that Autumn chill that heads our way every year). There really are no rules when it comes to how out there you want to be.
