Five Minute Everyday Make-Up You Need To Try
It’s time to give it a go!
We all love wearing a little make-up to work, to give us that little extra boost of confidence we need in the morning but who actually has the time and effort to get up early and do a full face of make-up – not us that’s for sure, we like our extra time in bed!
Five minute make-up was the best idea ever invented, super quick and easy make-up that elevates your natural face without taking up any precious time. Five minute make-up uses six products to create a work ready face that will make you feel confident throughout the day.
Here’s everything you need for the perfect five minute make-up routine.
Lightweight Liquid Filter
We’re not ones for a heavy base, lightweight and glowy is our motto at STELLAR HQ. Give Charlotte Tilbury’s Hollywood Flawless Filter a go as your base for that lusted after glow. The light coverage gives you the perfect amount of coverage to feel confident and ready for the day the ELF Halo Glow Liquid Filter is a great alternative. With a similar, slightly thicker formula this product is worth the hype especially the you see the price!
Bronzing Stick
A bronzing stick is a great addition to your beauty bag. You can be as accurate or inaccurate with your placement and it will still look good. The Milk Makeup Matte Bronzer Stick is a favourite of ours, it melts into the skin seamlessly and blends out perfectly no matter if you use a brush or a sponge – it doesn’t move the rest of your make-up either, a big plus in our opinion. A brilliant dupe, and an Irish one at that, is the Dripping Gold Bronze Bar Illuminating Bronzer Stick. It glides onto the skin and while there’s a subtle shimmer to it, it doesn’t make you or your skin look like a disco ball.
Liquid Blush
A flush of colour can bring all the life back into your face. Exhausted? Add some blush. Feeling under the weather? Add some blush. The Rare Beauty Soft Pinch Liquid Blushes are incredibly pigmented, a little truly goes a long way. They look really pretty on the skin once blended out. The perfect punch of colour. Made by Mitchell Blursh Liquid Blusher is a gorgeous dupe with an almost identical colour payoff. They’re lightweight on the face but still give that same shock of colour one wants from a good liquid blush.
Concealer
We all love a bit of concealer. It can bring life back into even the worst complexions. Rare Beauty Positive Light Undereye Brightener gives you a brightened effect without the heaviness of a normal concealer. It sits nicely under the eye and gets rid of those bags that like hanging around after a bad night’s sleep. ELF Undereye Flawless Brightening Concealer is a great alternative with a similar brightening effect just without the more expensive price tag.
Setting Powder
A translucent powder is necessary to take away the excess shine but don’t worry you’ll still glow from within. Laura Mercier Translucent Setting Powder has been a fan favourite for decades for a reason. It does its job. Setting the oiliest areas of your face you’ll be loving your make-up in no time. Sculpted By Aimee’s Velvet Veil Setting Powder gives a similar look for half the price – plus we love an Irish brand. Get setting lads!
Mascara
We’ve been converted from black to brown mascara, it gives such a soft natural finish. Too Faced’s Better Than Sex Mascara in Brown is one of the best additions we’ve made to our beauty bags. Like the original, the mascara opens up the eyes but isn’t too mad for those lazier days when you just want that little extra something. The Maybelline New York Lash Sensational Sky High Mascara in Brown is that dupe that you never knew you needed. One coat is literally all you need for ‘sky high’ lashes.
