Last night, all of Hollywood got dolled up in their glad rags for one of the biggest night’s on the event calendar, the Golden Globes.

Having been delayed not once, but twice due to a Covid-19 outbreak, the show took place last night and many of our favourite stars looked outstanding as they took to the red carpet, virtually.

One of these stars in particular, scooping our lewk of the night, was Anya Taylor-Joy who most people know for her recent role in standout Netflix hit, The Queen’s Gambit.

Wearing a custom-made Dior dress in emerald green, Anya shined bright like a diamond and teamed the look with super sleek mega long hair, we adore.

Paying homage to the Dior founder and Anya’s character, the fashion label created this dress by drawing inspiration from the incredible work both the actor and designer have created, making something spectacular.

The dress also came with a matching green cape for extra wowness and yeah, wow.

Awards wise, Anya also said checkmate, scooping limited series, anthology or TV/movie for Queen’s Gambit, as well as limited series, TV/movie actress for herself. This is Anya’s first major award.

“It’s obviously wonderful that everyone has seen the show, but I would do this project again and again and again. I learned so much. I’m so grateful, and thank you to the audiences that have watched it and supported the character. It meant the world,” explained Anya when accepting her award. Cute.

Other looks we loved on the night included Tiffany Haddish, revealing a new hairdo, the comedian and movie star opted for a short, platinum look teamed with a sparkly bodice dress, perfect for award’s night.

Also on the night, Isla Fisher and husband Sacha Baron Cohen looked every inch the celebrity powerhouse as the pair were suited and booted for award’s night. Sacha wore a navy suit, while Isla opted for a bright pink dress from Alex Perry.

We adore!
