Here’s What The Inglot Gals Used On The Celebs At The Peter Mark VIP Style Awards

Some of the celebs invited to the Peter Mark VIP Style Awards were lucky enough to have their makeup done by the Inglot pro-team in The Marker Hotel’s beauty room this morning. We had a chat with Inglot gal Aimee to see what makeup looks the celebs were asking for and the products they used to achieve a glam fit for the red carpet.

We reach for the new JLOxInglot a lot because it was only released on Thursday. Today we have a lot of older clientele so they’re looking for dewy skin, less coverage, light eyes and bronzed goddess look. There are no foundations in the JLO range so we’ve been reaching for our own Inglot foundations.

“My favourite highlighters to use for today are the trio highlighters, they’re really beautiful and soft on the skin.”

As for eyeshadow, the Inglot ladies have been using lots of brown, neutral matte shades to achieve a flawless look on our fave celebs. “Warm browns are safe. Everyone’s kind of going for muted kind of colours, like in JLo’s collection which is all about muted tones, so earthy greens, greys. Nothing too mad because she doesn’t have that style herself.

Everyone’s quite matte this year as well. Nobody is really wearing glitter so we’ve been using the shimmer shadows from the collection to add a bit of glitz rather than glitter.”

Dewy skin seems to be on the hot list for the Peter Mark VIP Style Awards this year. To achieve this look, the pro-team at Inglot have been using liquid illuminators.

“We’re mixing liquid illuminators in with our primers to give the skin a dewy finish and also mixing it in with our foundations.”

The last step of the looks created by Aimee and the team today was a nice, signature wing liner. Can’t go wrong with that one!
