Jorts Are In For Summer 2024 – Here’s How to Style Them

Every season different styles of shorts trend. We’ve seen bicycle shorts, linen shorts, and even micro shorts with tights last autumn, but get ready for a blast from the past because jorts are back. 

According to @databutmakeitfashion on Instagram, jorts are in for this season. Searches for jorts spiked 29% on the ASOS website this week alone and we must admit we’re in to them.  

You may be wondering, aren’t jorts in every spring/summer? – and you are correct, but these jorts aren’t your typical daisy dukes. These denim shorts are baggy and come just above the knee. They’re comfortable, fun and look great with a cowboy boot.  

Last summer many of our favourite fashion girls were wearing jorts and many were not convinced but as most trends go, people just needed to warm up to the idea of them and now the jorts trend is in full swing. 

If you are wondering how you can style these shorts without looking like your dad at a barbecue or Adam Sandler, we’ve found all the inspo you need.

Starting off strong we have Hailey Bieber who never fails us when hopping on a trend. She always seems to get it right. Mrs. Bieber is known for her effortless and chic street style and fully embraces the dad vibes with her socks and sandals in this look. We’re not mad at it.
