Kim Kardashian Does Get Injections In Her Bum, But Not For The Reason You Think

Kim, Khloé and the rest of the female Kardashian sibs maintain for the most part that their curves are the result of their Armenian heritage and some serious good genes, but that hasn’t stopped a slew of “bum implant” rumours from kicking off every now and again.

While she’s been pretty open about other work she’s had done – like lip fillers, for example – Kim Kardashian has always denied talk of either breast or bum implant work, despite being photographed numerous times with noticeable indents in bum cheeks.

The reason for those indents? Injections, as it turns out, but for something a little less scandalous: as treatment for psoriasis.

“I went to go get a cortisone shot in my butt,” the KUWTK said of the first time the implant rumours started back in 2007, after she was photographed with a noticeable “dent” in her left bum cheek.

“One of my neighbours was a dermatologist at Cedars [Cedars-Sinai Hospital]. I go in there and he’s like, ‘There’s a one in a billion chance that you will get a huge indent in your butt.’ Of course I get a huge indent on my butt.”

Kim can even pinpoint the photos that started the initial rumours: a picture of her “in Miami wearing an electric blue dress” and another of her “walking down Robertson,” both taken around the same time.

“You see the indent. And I think that’s when the rumours started: ‘She’s had implants.’”

Even now, Kim still gets the injections – but only as psoriasis treatment, mind you.

“Every few years I get a cortisone shot,” she said. “I just got one as my psoriasis was so bad in Vegas.”

Mystery solved, it seems.
