King Kylie Is Back – Yes, Really

2016, that u?

Over the weekend, Kylie Jenner announced that she had something big coming via Snapchat, of all places.

The beauty mogul and reality TV star has long been known for her iconic makeup looks and unwavering ability to set trends.

Back in the mid 2010s, she dominated the beauty scene with her collections – most notably her lip kits, vibrant palettes, and of course, her teal wigs.

The era was extremely of its time; a time where cut creases were all the rage, big lips were so in, and makeup was all about creating something new, rather than enhancing what you already had.

Now, due to popular demand, Kylie is bringing it all back in a collection that is absolutely sure to sell out in a heartbeat.

King Kylie is here – dripping lips and all. Sure proof that time is, indeed, a circle.

“This King Kylie Collection is truly for you!!!” Kylie wrote on Instagram.

“You’re the reason my biggest cosmetic dreams came true, and I wouldn’t be here.. 10 years later! without your support.

“I’ve seen all your messages asking for a King Kylie collection, the fearless era that had a dream at just 17 years old! .. and that’s why I posted that tweet back in 2022. I wanted to give you exactly what you’ve been waiting for.”

“From the bottom of my heart, thank you for being on this journey with me. I hope this collection makes you as happy as you’ve made me.”

Kylie released her first makeup collection 10 years, at the age of just 17.

Since then, she has grown her beauty empire to include skincare, fragrances, and hair products. In 2018, Forbes valued Kylie Cosmetics at $800 million – a figure that has not been confirmed in recent years.

This new collection – a nod to Kylie’s “most iconic” (and most lucrative, no doubt) era – includes striking lip kits, fan brushes, metallic eyeshadows, and more.

It launches on the Kylie Cosmetics website on October 18, so if you were hoping to secure a blast from the past, you’d want to set a reminder.
