Pastels for summer might sound just about as groundbreaking as florals for spring, but this year it’s not about a whole range of pastel colours, it’s about one shade and one shade only – sage green.
Yes, you could say it was the forgotten about colour in past years, when baby blues and pinks took centre stage, closely followed by yellow and lilac, but this year it’s all about green, hence our rebranding of hot girl summer 2020.
As we continue to pull heavily from the 90s for outfit inspiration; focusing strongly on cropped cardigans, slip dresses and oversized sweaters this summer, we’re seeing a massive demand for all these items in one colour, yep you guessed it – sage green.
