Still Obsessing Over Chanel’s Dad Sandals? Here Are The Best High Street Dupes
Because summer isn't over until we say it is... right?

Chunky trainers have been having a moment for the past three years, really making their mark as the must-have shoe when Balenciaga debuted the Triple S back in 2017 – subsequently leading to the creation of many dupes and similar styles up until present day.
Oh, how we’re swayed by fashion, eh?

But recently, the chunky trainer is being overruled by it’s summer rival, the chunky sandal. Now, I know it’s not summer any more, but while the weather is good, you’ll be catching us with our toes out, no questions asked.
Yep, it’s hard to believe we’d be purchasing sandals in late August, let alone the “dad type”, but if 2020 has proved one thing it’s that it’s unpredictable and so, there are no rules anymore.

The heavily sought-after Chanel dad sandal is the shoe of the season, one we know will be cleverly dressed with socks by the fash pack come September/October and if you’ve been seeing them all over your feed, it’s time to get on board.
Now, although the Chanel selection are firstly, tragically hard to get hold of and secondly, averaging around €2,000 for a pair, we’re looking elsewhere to join the trend, paying attention to the high street who are doing an incredible job at serving alternatives that feed our dad sandal craving.
Perfect for teaming with long dresses, skirts, fun loungewear sets and pretty tea minis, the dad sandal works with practically everything; another statement that’s taking us a while to compute.
But here we are and here’s what we’re loving…
Kurt Geiger – shop it here
Ducie London – shop it here
Missguided via ASOS – shop it here
COS – Shop it here
As the demand for chunky sandals is still at an all time high, many of these styles are selling out at rapid pace, but as new styles drop we’ll be sure to update you right here on where you can shop the trend from labels we love.
Now, to find a funky pair of socks to go with the sandals and we’re sorted.
