I haven’t been wearing makeup every day while working from home, because, well, why would I? But at heart, I’m a beauty fanatic and love trying new products, as well as using my old beloved favourites. So I was still playing with makeup and putting it on every so often during the many, many months of WFH.

For one whole week, I was back in the office, and despite cursing my alarm when it went off, making my morning coffee while half asleep, I was still delighted to have a reason to put on my face each day. Now that working from home is a reality again, I’m missing having a reason to put on a full face, but enjoying the freedom of having time to be able to play with and test products. From haircare, skincare and everything in between, here’s the latest products that deserve a whole lot of love.

Charlotte Tilbury Pillow Talk Push Up Lashes

Ah, Charlotte has done it again. Charlotte Tilbury has launched the brand new Pillow Talk Push Up lashes, a mascara that delivers instant volume, length and stretch for a 24hour vertical lift effect. Developed with an exclusive, innovative paddle brush with easy-to-use load, comb and lift technology, it’s the best mascara from CT yet.

Plus, it’s been created with an innovative formula including stretch and flex vertical lash lifting polymers that are light as air, and infused with Kerestore for healthier-looking lashes. First up, use the flat side of the dual-sided wand to load and coat the lashes. Then, a few seconds later, twist the wand and brush through to comb individual lashes from root to tip. Voila!

The full size (€29) and the travel size (€15) is launching on the 27th August on CharlotteTilbury.com, and Brown Thomas and Arnotts nationwide.

Note Cosmetics Matteever Lip-Inks

I’m well aware that smudged lipstick under a mask, or going without lipstick with a full makeup look because of the need to wear a face mask is a first world problem, but it doesn’t stop it being any less annoying. Note Cosmetic’s new Matteever Lip-Inks are ideal when it comes to this problem.

Long-wearing, transfer-resistant, comfortable and not drying on the lips? Yep, exactly what we need. Plus, the new shades are going to be absolutely gorgeous once the autumn weather arrives. Check them out at all Note Cosmetics stands, available now.

KVD Vegan Beauty Super Pomade

We’ve chatted before about the new KVD Shake Primer, and their latest launches are just as gorgeous. The new Super Pomade is a three-in-one miracle product, an eyeliner, brow and shadow in 17 shades – music to my ears. The weightless waterproof pomade delivers high-impact, budge-proof, smudge-proof, looks that don’t come off until you want them to.

The shade range is packed with vegan shades, which includes nine neutral tones, seven vibrant, bold artistry colours, and “White Out” for mixing, so you can create new shades and also use as a pop of highlight. For a super sharp and easy to apply liner, use the Pomade Brush to create precise strokes along the lash line. To use as an eyeshadow, pack the colour on with a dense brush and then blend out at the edges. Finally, you can also use it to fill in your brows as you would a regular pomade.

As well as the gorgeous Pomades, there’s also a stunning eyeshadow palette, the new Shade & Light NeüPop Eyeshadow Quad. If you’re venturing out and experimenting with colour, you’re gonna love this. The perfect mini eyeshadow palette that marries bold colours with neutral tones, allowing you to rock both looks or mix and match for bespoke eye looks that stand out. Check ’em out right here.

NUXE Cream-In-Mist

Because we’re all wearing face masks out and about, this new product from NUXE couldn’t have come at a better time. Their Cream-In-Mist combines sweet almond milk with an innovative red seaweed extract to strengthen the skin and help it retain water while also protecting it from aggressors, all while infusing the skin with 24-hour moisture. Ideal.

Its practical spray format allows a quick-and-easy application, diffusing a milky mist consisting of thousands of fine droplets that create a very refreshing sensation of comfort on the skin. Fresh and radiant? We’ll take that. The new Cream-In-Mist will be available this September, on Cloud10 and Lloyds Pharmacy.

La Roche-Posay Effaclar Micro Peeling Purifying Gel

Even the name of this new product got me good, it sounds absolutely divine. Created in partnership with dermatologists to target body breakouts, the new Effaclar Micro Peeling Purifying Gel is formulated for sensitive skin, using efficacious and trusted active ingredients including Salicylic acid, LHA, Zinc & glycerin.

We tend to go all on skincare when we’re applying it to our face, but tend to forget the skin on our actual bodies, so if you’re struggling with body breakouts (which usually tend to appear on the back and chest, and is much harder to address) you’re gonna love this. Available now at all La Roche-Posay stockists, from €16.

Remington PROLuxe Heated Rollers

I don’t know about you, but I find hairstyling one of the hardest things to grasp. It took me years to learn how to do GHD curls, and even now I can only do them in particular sections of my hair. So anything that will make hair styling easier, I’m all for it. Cue, the PROLuze Heated Rollers from Remington.

Ideal to lock in beautiful bouncy curls that last all day thanks to dual heat technology, which intelligently heats both the rollers and the clips, creating perfectly formed curls all over leaving your hair kink-free. With 20 rollers that heat in just 90 seconds, curls that set in 5 minutes, and two different sizes of rollers, it couldn’t be easier. The professional-grade PROluxe range also includes a straightener, curling wand, and a hairdryer, you’ve got everything you need. Ideal. You can check ’em out in any Remington stockist, or online here.

Dermalogica Hydro Masque Exfoliant

Launching today, the brand new Hydro Masque Exfoliant from Dermalogica is a five-minute masque that exfoliates and hydrates in a single step. Most of us turn to an exfoliating scrub when our skin looks dull, then a hydrating masque when it feels dry. But skincare is all about finding balance, and sometimes that means simplifying our routines. That’s exactly where this little beauty saves the day.

The key ingredients include bamboo, which primes skin for optimal hydration, while Snow Mushroom holds 450x its weight in water to deliver an instant hydration boost. The formula is packed with tiny spheres, so pply generously to cleansed face and neck, then massage in circular motions until spheres disappear. Let masque activate for 3-5 minutes, then rinse thoroughly and follow with your moisturiser. Stunning, hydrated skin, here we come. Check it out right here.

Yon-ka Paris Clear Skin Routine Kit

Another ‘maskne’ saviour. A good cleansing routine is vital to skin health. Your skin goes through so much in the day, dealing with pollution, free radicals, and make-up, here’s where this new set from Yon-ka comes in. Yon-ka Paris has a three-step programme designed especially for those with blemish-prone skin or acne. These products naturally help to calm and clear the skin through controlling oil production, helping to normalize the skin, and heal the skin of existing blemishes. Launching on September 1st, it’s sure to be your new go-to.
