This Beauty Hack Is How The Victoria’s Secret Angels Get Perfectly Glowy Skin

When the Victoria’s Secret angels hit the runway the first thing we notice is their enviable bods. Seriously, how do they get SO toned?

The second thing we notice is their perfect skin. Bright, clear and dewy, it’s a serious point of envy.

So just how do they get it looking so good pre-show? Well, thanks to VS model Lindsay Ellingson we now know that it’s all down to a little make-up trickery.

In a post for QVC she revealed that a “make-up artist to my surprise, applied lipstick to our cheeks.” The formula was then blended out, and foundation applied over the top, to dull down the colour, which Lindsay explains “gave us a very natural flush to our cheeks.”

This trick has been doing the rounds among beauty bloggers recently too. Known as chroming, it mimics the effect of strobing and adds subtle colour and highlight to the face.

It’s super easy and versatile too. “You can apply almost any lipstick to your cheeks,” Lindsay explains. “This is especially great if you’re in a rush and only have room for one product in your bag.” Her top tip? “I recommend sticking with hydrating lipsticks that won’t tug on your skin.”
