Last weekend, Madonna was welcomed out on stage as a surprise guest during Sabrina Carpenter’s headline set at weekend two of Coachella.

The pair stunned the audience after singing a rendition of Madonna’s hit songs, Like a Prayer and Vogue.

She also played a new song from her upcoming album Confession II, a follow-up album to the Grammy-winning 2005 Confessions, best known for its club hits and dance music such as Sorry and Hung Up.

During her time on stage, Madonna looked visibly emotional after saying that this opportunity was “a full circle moment” after she performed at this festival 20 years previous.

After the iconic performance, Madonna took to her Instagram seeking the help of the public after several of her vintage costumes went MIA after the performance.

In a statement on her social media, the singer wrote: “These aren’t just clothes, they are part of my history. I’m hoping and praying that some kind soul will find these items and reach out to my team.”

Madonna and her team are offering a reward for anyone who returns these precious items safely.

Among the missing clothes are the purple jacket, corset, and dress she wore on stage only a few hours previous.

While all outfits in this missing vintage catalog are incredibly meaningful to the singer, this particular outfit means a lot, as some pieces were worn at her performance 20 years ago.

The Indio Police Department have said that the clothes and jewellery were last seen on a golf cart at around 1:30am on Saturday morning, just after Madonna’s appearance on stage.

With lots of speculation online surrounding this issue and who’s responsible, the police have said that there is “no evidence to suggest the bags were intentionally stolen” and may have fallen off while being loaded onto her bus.

With no current leads, the saga of the missing clothes continues.
