Founded in 2011, UK brand House of Sunny is set to become your new favourite. Releasing two collections a year, the brand which is gaining more recognition by the day, only produces a small number of seasonal fits in order to act against fast fashion and create clothing at a slower and more environmentally friendly pace. YAS.

This, in turn, helps the team find time to do proper research, source sustainable fabrics and manufacturing methods, creating quality garments which last and can be worn season after season.

And although their collections might be small, their impact is mighty and the brand is becoming one to watch in the UK. Having just released the beginning of their new season for AW20, fans are going gaga over one statement piece, the Peggy Cardi which comes in a green or yellow colour. A knitted cardigan with a faux fur collar and sleeve detail. Think 90s Friends and all your other favourite sitcoms mixed together.

With a price tag of £79, these pieces are also not at designer prices, but with quality that could rival any of the big and luxurious brands, made consciously.

One of the major pieces from their SS20 drop, was the Hockey dress. One you might recognise from being spotted on none other than Kendall Jenner. The dress (which is still on sale), is a knitted midi, featuring lily pad designs and a cut out back. According to the brand, they took inspiration off David Hockney’s paintings to create this number and hence, the name of the item.

Now, all we’re missing is rosé and sun re: Ken Jen, thank you.

Giving off serious 70s vibes, we adore the colour; one which House of Sunny use throughout their collections.

And although the dress has sold out a whopping three times, it’s now available to purchase here, and the collection, at your perusal here. Yay.

We love a gorj little sustainable find!
