What’s a shacket we hear you say? It’s the perfect in-between layer for this time of year, a combination of a shirt and a jacket (aha! shacket!) it’s the cosy yet not too heavy piece you can wear now.

With the look of a shirt, it’s generally buttoned with a collar, but the weight of a jacket, it’s heavy enough to keep you warm. We prefer ours to be oversized so we can slip a t-shirt underneath or even a roll-neck looks great if you’re super chilly. They are also the ideal layer for over a dress/tights/boots combo.

A shacket is perfect for now, as your summer denim jacket is probably not quite enough anymore, but you’re not ready for your heavy winter coat just yet. They’re also super affordable, with almost every brand on the high street selling them at the moment, in a range of prints and textures – we’re really into the fleecy style ones as they look super cosy!
