What A Change! Taylor’s Hair Definitely Does NOT Look Like This Any More
She is absolutely killing it in the new issue of Vogue.
Taylor Swift continues her lifelong lesson in how to completely overhaul someone’s image with a brand new spread in the May issue of Vogue.
She’s long cast off the shackles of her country singin’, floral dress wearin’ teen years, but has now made yet another massive leap – from glossy pop starlet to a potential catwalk queen.
Her first step? Ditching her sandy blonde hair for a feathered platinum bob, a look which makes her look instantly more mature and oh-so edgy.
Clad in a Saint Laurent dress by Hedi Slimane on Vogue’s new cover, Taylor looks every bit the high-fashion maven.
A look at the photos inside the magazine only serve to confirm our suspicions – this 26-year-old can excel at just about anything she sets her mind to.
Speaking about her evolving style, the singer says she’s amused by some of her fashion choices of old, but isn’t necessarily embarrassed by them.
“I can look back at an old photo and tell you roughly what year it’s from. Going through different phases is one of my favorite things about fashion.
“I love how it can mark the passage of time. It’s similar to my songs in that way—it all helps identify where I was at in different points of my life.”
And as for where she is in her life right now – on a hiatus from music and in a “magical relationship” with DJ Calvin Harris – Taylor says she’s happy just to go with the flow.
“This is the first time in ten years that I haven’t known,” she admits of her reluctance to make plans for the future.
“I just decided that after the past year, with all of the unbelievable things that happened… I decided I was going to live my life a little bit without the pressure on myself to create something.”
Sounds like a solid plan to us.
