I mean, if you want

Hailey Bieber has once again created a new trend – using a hair comb to apply your face mask. Yes, really.

This week Hailey’s beauty brand rhode uploaded photos to their Instagram to promote their caffeine reset sculpting cream mask.

They show our beloved Hailey wearing slick shades and the caffeine cream combed onto her face captioned with, “masking, glowing, rhode-ing.”

Hailey has become the Queen of Trends over the past few years, from glazed doughnut skin to eating sushi with a face mask on, the world is obsessed. She is the it-girl and what Hailey does, we all want to try.

Her branding is focused on the clean girl aesthetic and the idea that less is more when it comes to beauty. Her preference for subtle, natural-looking lip enhancement has even led to a rise in lip-flips over traditional fillers.

But with this new promotion for her mask, people are confused. Why is Hailey combing a face mask on? Is it better for your skin? Does it do anything regular face mask application doesn’t?

Short answer – no, it adds no benefit. But we can all agree it does look quite cool and it’s a fun trend to hop on. Hailey fans quickly jump at the opportunity to copy whatever she does.

rhode know their audience well enough to know that they would be all over this. And they have been.

rhode are not saying you should apply your masks like this. It doesn’t do anything, but you can if you want. Skincare and makeup are all about being creative and trying new things and Hailey knows how to get people talking.

One of her biggest trends was the viral rhode Lip Case, a silicone iPhone case featuring a built-in slot specifically designed to hold a rhode lip treatment. The phone case has become a staple it-girl accessory, and it often sells out shortly after restocks.

Hailey will continue her reign as trend setting queen and we are so here for it.
